Privacy

What we store

• If you subscribe: your email address, your plan, the brands and questions you asked us to track, and the results of those probes. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see a card number.
• If you run a free check: the website and question you submitted, the answer the engine gave, your email if you provided one, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to rate-limit the shared probe pool. We cannot recover an IP address from the hash.
• If you use the llms.txt generator: the domain, your email if you provided one, and how many pages were listed. The generated file is not stored — it is your own site.
• Analytics: anonymous page views and product events through PostHog, proxied through this domain. Form inputs are masked in session recording.

Session recordings

Analytics here includes session replay: a reconstruction of how a page was used — clicks, scrolls, pointer movement, and which pages were opened in what order. Everything typed into a field is masked in the browser before it is sent, so text you enter is never captured. It exists so that a flow which breaks for someone can be watched back and fixed rather than guessed at. Recordings are processed by PostHog and deleted after 30 days.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
• We do not sign in to any account of yours, and we never ask for your credentials.
• We do not read anything on your site that is not publicly served. The free tools fetch public pages exactly the way any browser would.

Free check result pages

Every free check gets a public URL so it can be shared. It shows the brand, the question and the engine’s answer. It does not show your email or any identifier. These pages are excluded from search indexing; if you would like one removed, email citerank@kynth.studio with the link and it will be deleted.

Retention and deletion

Subscriber data is kept while the subscription is active and for 30 days after cancellation, so an account can be restored if someone changes their mind. Free-check and llms.txt records are kept for 12 months. Email citerank@kynth.studio to have anything deleted sooner — no process, no retention team, just a reply.
